Manufacturer instructions take precedence

Moka pots differ by manufacturer, model, size, material, safety system, and compatible heat source. Follow the current manual and safety instructions supplied for your exact product. General guidance on this site does not override a model-specific warning, limit, maintenance procedure, or replacement requirement.

Safety and condition

Do not use an article as authorization to heat a damaged, incorrectly assembled, leaking, obstructed, or uncertain pressure vessel. Stop, allow the brewer to cool completely, and consult the manufacturer or an appropriately qualified service source when safe condition or compatibility cannot be established.

Brewing outcomes vary

Coffee, grind distribution, water, fill, equipment condition, heat source, environment, and individual taste can change the result. A technique that is useful in one documented setup is not a warranty of the same flavor, strength, time, or yield in every setup.

Sources and updates

Moka Theory works to represent sources accurately, but external documents can be revised, moved, or withdrawn. Publication does not make a source universally applicable, and an undetected error may remain until corrected. Suspected errors can be reported through the Contact page.

No professional or commercial endorsement

The site does not provide legal, medical, engineering, repair-certification, or other professional advice. Mention of a manufacturer, product, or source does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or universal compatibility.
