Evidence and sources

Manufacturer manuals and product documentation are the first reference for model-specific operation, compatibility, care, and safety. Primary technical or scientific sources are preferred for physical, mechanical, and sensory claims. Secondary sources may provide context, but they do not replace an applicable primary source.

The editorial methodology defines how established facts, manufacturer guidance, published evidence, common practice, Moka Theory tests, and editorial recommendations are labelled.

Scope and factual review

Guidance is not transferred between models, materials, sizes, or brewing methods without a stated reason. Quantities retain their units and measurement basis. Claims, tables, citations, and technical illustrations are checked against the source scope before publication.

Testing and recommendations

Moka Theory does not imply that it has performed a physical test when it has not. Any future first-party test will identify its setup, variables, observations, and limitations. Editorial recommendations explain the practical reasoning behind them and are not presented as stronger evidence than their sources support.

Independence

Moka Theory is an independent informational publication. Commercial relationships, if introduced, will be disclosed and will not purchase changes to evidence, measurements, safety conclusions, or editorial verdicts. Manufacturer marketing claims are treated as claims, not independent proof.

Corrections and updates

Readers can report a suspected factual error at info@mokatheory.com. Include the affected URL and supporting source where possible. Reports are checked against the article's sources and applicable manufacturer documentation.

Confirmed errors are corrected in the relevant page. An article's updated date is changed for a substantive correction or a material evidence-led revision, not for silent typographic maintenance. Moka Theory does not currently publish a separate correction log.
